Alecia Baird

On Saturday Sept 1st, Alecia Baird a Brisbane woman, aged 36, who has lived with metastatic cancer for 11 years had her dream fulfilled.

Her wish was to see her son Cody, aged 12, meet the Australian Cricket Team who he worships!

The Australian Cricket Team allowed Cody and Alecia special access to watch them train.

Alecia said of the experience “ It was brilliant to see Cody’s face – he was mesmerised. His father passed away when he was a young boy so he has never experienced anything like this before. To see him so happy on the day was everything to me.”

The team were fantastic, giving him bowling and batting tips, and the opportunity to ‘play’ with them. Our special thanks go to the team for helping us make the day one to remember and the Professionals Real Estate Group in Brisbane who did so much to help organise the day.
