Cathy Francis

On Wednesday 2nd July 2008, the dream of Cathy Francis was realised! Cathy was a patient of the Prince of Wales Hospital and suffered from Ewings Sarcomba in her tibia resulting in nearly 8-months in hospital and extensive chemotherapy.

Cathy's dream was "to have a day of pampering in a spa". With the help of the Milk Day Spa in Paddington, Cathy spent a whole day enjoying luxurious treatments. She was chauffeur-driven to and from the spa by Peter George, who she said was "such a gentleman, and a really helpful, beautiful man"! On arrival a bouquet of flowers from "Sweet Scent" heralded the start of a really memorable day. Cathy said "the massage was just amazing, I really did need that so badly".
